Okay so today I logged on and found out about the Gucci Tribute Store and found the cutest boots, but they looked VERY familiar... When I found VERY similar boots in Fallen Angel for nearly half the price!

So on the Left are the Gucci Boots coming in at 14 stardollars and on the right the Fallen Angel Boots 8 stardollars

The dress is the "Pink Ruffle Dress Set" From "Pretty n Love by JCP Penny" It's not in stores all around the world so just search for pink dresses it's also 10sds. The "Tingeling Ballerina Shoes", "Sunny Bunny Kloz Berry Gloves", "Hot Buys Cat Hat" found at either the calender or "Evil Panda" and "Pink Bunny Bag" from "Evening Falls" top it all off (7sds Shoes, 6sds Gloves, 6sds Hat, 15sds Bag)

Starcoins

So total cost 180 starcoins. Using the "Floral Applique Top" from The "JCP Penny Pretty n Love Collection" Search pink tops it's 50 scs. "High-Waist Shorts" from "Pretty n Love" are super cute and are only 40scs! With cute "Sunny Bunny Kloz Bow Heels and Fudge Pink Pantyhose" you look so cutesy and ready to go! (70scs Shoes, 20scs Tights)


There you have it two cutesy pink themed looks!

Last Red - Style The Rainbow

Hey everyone!

So final Red look Preppy

Stardollars

The total price was 29 stardollars. The top is the "Fire Engine Red Dot Blouse" from "Bonjour Bisou" (15sd, Pricy I know but I thought it was super cute and went amazingly well with the look). The "Red Skirt" from "Film Theory Classic" (8sd) and finally the "Black & Red Sandals" from "Decades" (6sd, now to be perfectly honest I don't like these shoes AT ALL but they were the only other stardollar shoe that weren't already used or from "LE", "Miss Sixty" etc.)

Starcoins

The total cost of this look was 199 starcoins. The top is the very basic but very interchangeable "Polo Top" from "Stardoll" (40sc), for the skirt back to "Basics" for a "Red Mini Skirt" (40scs I told you it was interchangeable last time!), Next the socks and shoes head to "Windows On The World" for the "Columbia Women's World Cup Socks" then to "Pretty n Love" for the "Red Bow Patent Shoes" (45sc Socks, 74sc Shoes)

And there you go! Six simple and Semi-cheap looks for the colour Red.

Louis Vuitton Make-up Tutorial ~Beginner~

Hello dolls! Today, I decided to show you something that I love to do. Imitate the makeup of famous designers! I know it may sound boring but if you think about, famous designers know what they are doing when it comes to making everything look good!  The designer I will be imitating is Louis Vuitton.

1: (optional) You may change your hair to match the models look. Hair colour does not matter for this look.

For non-SS: I recommend the 11^th one on the 5^th page

For SS: I recommend the 4^th one on the 3^rd page.

 2: For the lips you will need a very deep red. For this I recommend the first lipstick in the ‘dot’ beauty shop, on the last page. It doesn’t really match the models lips perfectly but since I didn’t want to use the LUXE sparkly ones, this red was the best fit.

3. Next are the eyes. For this step I used Natural Brown Eye Dust from LUXE. I applied it to most of the eyelid including a thin line under her eye.  And last but not least, I used the black eyeliner and both mascaras to finish her eyes.  

4. For the last step I used a little of very pale pink blush to the top of her cheek bone to get the finished look.

So part two in my three part Red series.

VALENTINES DAY

The total of our very cutesy love look was 31 stardollars
The pieces are: The "Heart Trimmed Dress" from "Sunny Bunny Kloz" (25Sds) and "Ruby Red Heels" from the cheapest of all designer stores "Killah" (6Sds)

Starcoins

Isn't it cute? The total cost is... 210sc.... Pricy I know but there are basic pieces that are interchangeable so.. they are: The "Red Tube Dress" from the simple store "Basics" (40Scs), "Fantasy Gloves" from "Fallen Angel" (40Scs), the "Red Rose Wedge Boots" from the ever so cutesy "Sunny Bunny Kloz" (60Scs) and we embellished the dress by using 6 "Heart Patches" from "Evil Panda" (10Scs each)

So there you have it two very cutesy looks perfect for spreading Valentines Cheer amongst your friends, or just to look cute online whilst you spend it with your Valentine.

This Week... Red. The colour of passion, Valentine's Day and Preppys, so I thought I'd make a look for each one! :)

The total cost of our sweet-yet-sultry look here was 32 Stardollars which I find slightly reasonable we have picked to wear the "Cardinal Red Ribbon Top" from "Sea Of Stars" (18sds), The "White Faux Fur Trim Skirt" from the "Film Theory: White Christmas Collection" (9sds) and the "Platform Lace Up Heels" from "Bonjour Bisou" (5sds)

Starcoins

The total cost was 149 Starcoins which I find quite reasonable. I have chosen the "Ruffle Red Body" from "Wild Candy" (69scs), the "Red Mini Skirt" from "Basics" (40scs) and the "Blood Red Heels" from "Fallen Angel" (40scs)

Stardoll of the Week #2

I would like to welcome our second Stardoll of the Week! Her username is: CherrySnoppy123. She is really great and has an awesome sense of style! She was a shoo in for our second SOTW!

I had a great time asking her some question and she was nice enough to answer them! If you’re wondering how the interview turned out... keep reading!

Q: When did you first join Stardoll?

A: I joined the site quite a long time ago. It’s kind of hard to remember but I’m pretty sure it was around October in 2010. So I’ve been here a long time!

Q: Wow! So then only more than a year has passed and you’re already so popular within Stardoll! Is there any advice you want to give to newcomers on how to get to the top?

A: I suggest buying DKNY’s and LE. I know sometimes you may not have the money but I would ask for maybe a gift card to Stardoll for Christmas or your Birthday, because once you buy it and it is gone, those special edition clothes make you stand out because not many will have it! Also, you can sell those old clothes and make a great profit out of them! The money could go towards: Broadcasts, buying more designer clothes and sending gifts.

Q: Is there anyone or anything that inspire you?

A: I would have to say that celeb’s inspire me the most.

Q: That’s great! Any specific celebs?

A: Oh wow! There are so many! But I think that Lady Gaga, Coco Chanel, Coach and DKNY inspire me the most. So basically most of the famous designers!

Q: Haha! That’s great! Thank you very much for your interview! I hope you continue loving Stardoll and get more known within the site!

STARDOLL OF THE WEEK! #1

 I would like to introduce to you our first Stardoll of the Week! Her user name is AuraMyst and she’s really great! She has many great designs and has inspired me to try and be a designer myself. If you need some advice on how to be a great designer, keep reading…

Q: Thank you for coming in and doing this interview with me!

A:  No problem! I’m just glad that you picked me!

Q: Well you deserve it! You look great! Now, when did you first join Stardoll?

A: I actually just have joined a week ago and I love it! Originally, I designed clothes for my ‘Barbie’s’ and I guess that’s what made me want to become a designer on Stardoll.

Q: Well, welcome to Stardoll then! I hope you keep on loving it! Tell me, what inspires you?

A: Actually it’s quite simple. I just like seeing other people in my designs, but sometimes I like to go for more of the classical designs, such as: Christmas trees, candy canes and Santa for Christmas!

Q:  Do you have any advice for upcoming designers?

A: My only advice would be that you should always stay inspired! Go with your gut and make what first comes to mind. And most importantly: be patient!

            I think that her being the blog’s Stardoll of the Week will bring many ideas and inspiration to Dolls who are just beginning to design. She’s really sweet and great to work with! Deffinetly check her out!

Fashion Tip Of the Week!

So, I'm pretty many of you know about a new designing ‘booth’ in stardoll called Stardesign jewelry. But what I found out is that you can actually create your bangs by using some feathers. For example, this is how your bangs could look like.

1. Go to stardesign jewelry and choose a headband preferably the one below

2. Choose the color of that headband

3. Go to the second page in charms

4. Find the feathers you want, place them in the right spot

5. Buy them and cover up the headband with a bow

Personally, I check the ‘Contest and Events’ Tab often and today I came across a cool event called the ‘Big March’. It’s a website that you have to navigate your way to from Stardoll where you can learn ways to help get rid of bullying. So, I signed up and created my own slogan and little ‘bot’ . I don’t really know why I made her have angry eyes. Hehe. I just thought they were really cute.

But another cool thing about this ‘Bully-Free’ site is that you get 2 cute figurines and a pink tent like the one from the site, from clicking the link in Stardoll. If you were curious about what they are, here are the 3 free things you get :

How to Patch the Elbows of your Cardigan!

I stumbled upon such a cute DIY. I know it’s not SD related but I was just completely in love with this look I just have to share it with you guys. So, here you go:

Supplies needed:

Cardigan,

Fabric along with fabric marker/crayon,

 1 sheet of cardstock/ cardboard scissors,

 Pins,

Embroidery thread and embroidery needle.

STEPS:  

1. Using the fabric marker, mark an X on each sleeve of your cardigan right at the point of your elbow.
2. Cut a heart out of card stock to use as a stencil, making sure it fits perfectly on the sleeves of your cardigan. Resize if necessary.

3. Cut two hearts from fabric, using stencil.

 4. Pin a heart to each sleeve of your cardigan, making sure the center of the heart is placed over the X you made earlier.

 5. Stitch all the way around the heart with embroidery thread. You could also use a sewing machine!

Once you’re done, you’ll have a cardigan so cute, you’ll even be jealous of yourself ;) !

Monte Carlo Secret Store!

  A little while ago, US members were able to get a free dress and poster for the Monte Carlo film. Stardoll released a store too, so click HERE to get all the clothes in your dressing room.

Look of the Day- Giorgio Armani!

For today’s look of the day, I chose this one because I think it best for fall. I think this way, because the colors remind me of fall, and the types of clothes as well; a covered jacket and long pants. The shoes are also covered and not exposing any type of toe! (:

When I tried to recreate this look, I could find a jacket that looked similar to hers so I found one that I think looks best with the outfit. The jacket is from ' Windows of the World' , it is called the 'Sanity Jacket' and cost 70sc. Because the jacket is revealing, I found a top that looked alike to the pants, by the colour but lighter because of the contrasts of the original jacket and pants. The light pink top is from 'Sunny Bunny Kloz', it is called the 'Cowl Tank' and costs 100 sc. The dress pants are called 'Blush Tapered Trousers', they are from 'Stardoll' and cost 50sc. The yellow-ish shoes are also the closest match I could find from the original and they are also from 'Stardoll'. The shoes are called 'Peach Heels' and cost 40 sc. And finally the bag. The black clutch was from 'Bizou' and it is called the 'Metal Edged Purse' . It costs 73 sc.

To spice the look up just a bit and make it look less dull, I kept everything the same except added some earrings and changed the shoes. The earrings I added are called ‘Alicia Gold Earrings' and they cost 40sc. The shoes are from ‘Bizou’ and cost 6 sd. They are called ‘Chole Shoes’.

STYLE TIP: Just by changing a few accessories to more contrasting colours or to something with a little more glam to it, you can always dress something up or down.

If I were you, I would buy the cheapest stardollar pack, and spend them on these few days. Just so you get something limited edition and so you feel good about spending it on a cause.
